About the Chrome website checker
Is Chrome by Infaris free?+
Yes. You can check a page without an account. An Infaris account is only needed to save results in Guard; continuous Guard monitoring requires a Guard plan.
Can the extension check pages behind a login?+
Yes. The audit runs in the active tab and therefore sees the rendered page you are currently viewing, including signed-in or personalised content.
Does the extension watch every website I visit?+
No. The extension receives temporary access to one active tab after you click check. There is no background scanner and no permanent permission for every website.
How is this different from Guard?+
